Frequently asked questions
How do I set up the Naturally Organic Hudson Latex Mattress for the first night?
Place the mattress on a suitable foundation or bed frame. Ensure the core layers are evenly aligned and the wool quilted surface is facing up for comfort and temperature regulation.
What conditions or climates is this mattress best suited for?
The wool and organic cotton cover help regulate temperature, making it comfortable in a range of climates by promoting a cooler, drier sleep surface.
What makes this latex mattress different from other natural beds?
It uses a two-layer Dunlop latex core—5 inches of firm support topped with 3 inches of medium feel—wrapped in GOTS-certified organic cotton and quilted with GOTS-certified wool, with each layer individually wrapped to minimize shifting.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and who might prefer something else?
It’s well suited for sleepers who want solid support with pressure relief and a natural, non-toxic surface; those seeking very soft or very plush feel might look for alternatives with different layering.
What materials is it made of and what does that mean for daily use?
Core layers are Dunlop latex (firm base + medium top), covered in GOTS-certified organic cotton and wool. This combination aims for durable support, temperature regulation, and a pure sleep surface.
Can this mattress be used in shared rooms or guest spaces?
Yes. Its balanced two-layer design provides stable support and comfort suitable for nightly use in bedrooms or guest rooms.
